[Davical-general] Calender trouble "=nvalid Cal...."

Thorsten Marquardt

One of my calendar seems to be ill.

Thunderbird shows an exclamation mark behind the calender and calling the calendar URL from firefox shows:

Exception [0] Couldn't parse property from string: `ATTENDEE;RSVP=TRUE;PARTSTAT=NEEDS-ACTION;ROLE=REQ-PARTICIPANT;SCHEDULE-STATUS="3.7;Invalid Calendar User";=nvalid Calendar User":[hidden email]`
At line 137 of /usr/share/awl-0.56/inc/iCalendar.php

instead of downloading an .ics file.

How can I fix this problem?

I'm running davical 1.1.4 on opensuse. Postgres is 8.4.4 on solaris.

I think this is a combination of a worked-around-in-1.1.4 Thunderbird
issue that led to the creation of broken data like

    SCHEDULE-STATUS="3.7;Invalid Calendar User";=nvalid Calendar User"

(note the uneven number of double quotes!) with stricter iCalProp
parsing in awl 0.56.

The only thing I can suggest to fix this is to go to your database and
rewrite those broken SCHEDULE-STATUS values to just

    SCHEDULE-STATUS="3.7"

HTH,
Florian
