[Davical-general] iPad tries to delete nonexistem item

David Newman
Every time an iPad syncs with the server, it tries to delete an item
that doesn't exist. This is from the Apache access log:

"DELETE
/caldav.php/dnewman/dnWork/eff020e4-5e3e-ae40-8b1a-a3acdd94ac1a.ics
HTTP/1.1" 500 20

and this is from Postgres:

davical=> select * from calendar_item where uid =
'eff020e4-5e3e-ae40-8b1a-a3acdd94ac1a';
 user_no | dav_name | dav_etag | uid | created | last_modified | dtstamp
| dtstart | dtend | due | summary | location | description | priority |
class | transp | rrule | url | percent_complete | tz_id | status |
completed | dav_id | collection_id | first_instance_start |
last_instance_end
---------+----------+----------+-----+---------+---------------+---------+---------+-------+-----+---------+----------+-------------+----------+-------+--------+-------+-----+------------------+-------+--------+-----------+--------+---------------+----------------------+-------------------
(0 rows)

Deleting and recreating the account on the iPad doesn't fix this.

How to remedy?

Many thanks

dn

iPad runs iOS 7.0.6

Server runs DAViCal 1.1.2 with Ján Máté's 20130514 patches and
the new Mavericks patches from Github.

Ján Máté-2
URL and UID are DIFFERENT (and unrelated) things!

SELECT * FROM caldav_data WHERE dav_name='/dnewman/dnWork/eff020e4-5e3e-ae40-8b1a-a3acdd94ac1a.ics';

Subversion Kills Productivity. Get off Subversion & Make the Move to Perforce.
With Perforce, you get hassle-free workflows. Merge that actually works.
